Beds Share tracks a 10% launch-rate platform commission on confirmed direct guest payments. The commission is calculated from the booking total stored in Beds Share.
After a guest submits direct payment proof, Beds Share can send a PayPal invoice to the host for the platform fee. If PayPal is not configured or an invoice needs attention, admins can follow up from the admin dashboard.
Hosts must keep payment instructions accurate, confirm only payments they actually received, and respond promptly if a guest reports a payment or check-in issue.
Beds Share does not automate payouts, hold balances, split payments, or charge guests on behalf of hosts in the current launch model. Host commission invoices are separate from the guest-to-host payment.
